I dont know of theses troubles that youve read about, I have them set up in dead areas and it works great. ![]() They can also be set to only rebroadcast a selected signal. You will only need the Linksys Wireless-G Range Expanders in this method if you are having trouble in dead areas. The following is the guide to setup them in repeter mode **&p_li=&p_topview=1 These routers can be configured as repeters too (CAT5) Main Wireless Route Router Configured in repeter mode (CAT5) Router configured in repeter mode You can choose to broadcast your SSID or not or keep the netork open its your choice. ![]() Rooms 11-19 would be covered by router2 would be SSID "wireless3" for the SSID WEP key same or diff as above. Next if you want to get a little more creative you can setup three different wireless networks or one big one honestly i would setup three for debugging purposes. Connect the WAN port of the gateway to your cable modem. connect the WAN port of the two "routers" in to the switch part of the "gateway". If so make one a gateway, then make the other two routers. Can you hard wire the three linksys's together?
